About the Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council (MAC)

Since there is no "city government" in Oak Park, an elected Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) exists to advise county government of community concerns.

The Municipal Advisory Council is composed of five elected members.  Members are elected  from the community at large.

The MAC´s role is to provide advice and recommendations to the Ventura County Board of Supervisors, the County Planning Department, and other agencies.
